The assessment center is a remarkable tool, not only for employee selection but also for employee development. We offer a number of different plans, and like all of our work, these plans are custom designed to fit our clients needs.
The most basic plan involves administering a custom designed assessment center to your employees. Each employee is confronted with a series of problems in realistic settings which allow insights into the employees abilities in areas such as Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Customer Service Approaches, Decision Making, and many others.
Once the process is completed and the information is analyzed, a psychologist from our firm meets with the individual employees and discusses their strengths and weaknesses. We provide information on how the employee can improve in the areas of weakness while maintaining and enhancing their strengths. We reinforce the mission and direction of the organization, and assist the employees in realizing ways in which they can contribute.
Our more advanced plan involves the development and administration of a diagnostic assessment center as noted above. We then develop individualized employee development programs based upon the employees strengths and weaknesses. We monitor these programs over a specific time frame. At the end of this period, we bring all of the individuals through a final assessment center to gauge their improvements.
